CarMark Dealers in 16 States and Growing
The CarMark Certified Pre-Owned Program, which became available to dealers across the country last year, has begun to gain significant traction. CarMark Certified vehicles are now available from dealers in 16 states throughout the country, and the numbers continue to rise.
The program, administered by APCO/EasyCare, is available to all dealers — franchise, former franchise and independent — and that fact is reflected in the makeup of the current CarMark dealer base. At press time, 53 percent of CarMark dealers were franchise dealers, 31 percent were independents and 16 percent were former franchise.
“CarMark has something to offer every dealer out there,” said Bill Zadeits, managing director of POADA. “Franchise dealers already understand the importance and value of certification. Now, by combining CarMark with their manufacturer’s certification program, they can certify all of the used vehicles on their lots. Former franchise and independent dealers can use the CarMark Certified Pre-Owned Program to set themselves apart from their competition and compete with the peace of mind and value offered by manufacturers’ certification programs.”
As the CarMark program continues to grow and expand across the country, CarMark will be completely redesigning the www.carmarkcertified.com site to be more up-to-date, user-friendly and informative. The site will become an excellent resource for consumers interested in purchasing a CarMark vehicle and will be a portal for dealers interested in selling CarMark vehicles to request additional information.
“The goal of the new site is really to lend credibility to what is already a top-notch national program,” said Zadeits. “We want the customer to visit the CarMark site and immediately recognize what we already know — that this is a trustworthy brand offering a valuable service that they can depend on to be there when they need us.”
The site will also offer a dealer locator, which will enable consumers to find the CarMark dealer nearest them and link directly to the inventory on that dealer’s website.
